Brief Biography:
Ms. Thompson joined the DCN Team in the Simulation lab in 2021. Chelsy has
received her BSN at the Denver college of nursing in 2018 and received her MSN at Grand Canyon University in 2021. She has experience in OR,
Medsurg, and Labor and Delivery. Her passion for Women's health and teaching nursing students started quickly after graduating with her BSN
and she pursued her passion in teaching Women's health after working in Labor and Delivery for 2 years. Chelsy also enjoys many hobbies and
activities outside of work such as: hiking, reading, cooking and baking, sports, paddle boarding, and camping. She has one son whom she spends
all of her time with! Chelsy loves working with DCN students and wants to be a part of shaping the future of nurses!
