Brief Biography:
Ms. Moore joined the DCN Team in February of 2019. She has been
practicing as a Registered Nurse since 2010. Most of her nursing career has been working in a system wide float pool as an RN floating
between 3 hospitals in the Denver area. She has nursing experience in many nursing specialties including mental health, detox units,
residential treatment facilities, medical-surgical, oncology, hospice, telemetry, PCU, orthopedics, gynecology, and urology. Professor
Moore’s passion is helping the underserved, mental health population as well as educating the next generation of nurses. Lifelong
learning is an integral aspect of Katrina’s life and she is pursuing her DNP degree. She is living out her passion teaching Mental
Health Nursing here at DCN.
