Brief Biography:
Dr. Katey March is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Board Certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC).
She also holds a Doctor of Nursing degree (ND). Dr. March has an extensive clinical background as an advanced practice nurse
and as a nurse educator, with a predominant focus on Obstetrical Nursing. Her clinical background includes women’s health care,
postpartum and newborn care, midwifery, and reproductive endocrinology. She has also worked extensively on point-of-care information
resources for physicians and nurses and has contributed to curriculum development at several colleges. She joined Denver College
of Nursing as faculty in 2013. Katey is married (husband Jake) and has a 16-year-old son (Sebastian), and two grown stepchildren
(Eva and Isaiah). She lives in Boulder and enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking, and spending time with her pets, her family, and friends. |
