Brief Biography:
Dr. LeClaire has lived and worked in Colorado most of her life. She has been a nurse for over three decades focusing on education and
administration, and has several degrees (see below). Dr. LeClaire pursued a Ph.D. in Nursing Health Systems to achieve her lifelong dream
of teaching nursing students and graduated in August 2020. In addition, she has 27 years of pediatric patient care and administrative
experience in orthopedics, rehabilitation, and psychiatry and behavioral sciences. Dr. LeClaire also has management and patient care
experience in eating disorders with children, adolescents, and adults. During her career, Dr. LeClaire has participated in two medical
missions to Kiev, Ukraine. She was selected as a TEDx speaker for a TEDxCherryCreekWomen 2021 event. Dr. LeClaire has taught nursing
asynchronous and synchronous courses for several years. More recently, she has taught at Denver College of Nursing as a clinical faculty
member and is currently the Pre-licensure Programs Director for both ADN and BSN programs. |
