Brief Biography:
Ms. Kent joined the DCN Team in December of 2020. She was born and
raised in Colorado and went to Creighton University for her BSN and completed her degree in 2014. Laura worked on a Trauma Unit after
graduation until she moved back home to Colorado and worked on a Surgical Unit at University of Colorado Anschutz Campus. In 2018 she
was employed at Children's Hospital Colorado working in the Perioperative Department. Laura loves being at the bedside with patients
and families but also loves precepting new graduate nurses. She has a strong passion for nursing and loves teaching which has lead her
to DCN.
