Brief Biography:
Dr. Marguerite Distel has been a member of the faculty at DCN since 2014. She has had a varied career in nursing; working in oncology,
medical-surgical nursing, home-visiting, case management, infection control and public health. A major part of her nursing philosophy
is focused on eliminating health disparities in vulnerable population groups. Marguerite graduated from UC Denver-Anschutz Medical
Campus with her DNP degree in Public Health Nursing in 2018. At Denver College of Nursing she was the director of the Online Nursing
Programs (RN to BSN & MSN) and teaches Community Health courses in the BSN program.
