Ms. Crampton earned her BSN in 1999 and began her career at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. She became a travel nurse and worked at many
organizations across the nation, including Stanford and Massachusetts General. Nicole eventually settled in Colorado and spent her
career in cardiac electrophysiology and PACU. Her focus has been primarily in critical care, cardiology, and the perioperative arenas.
She completed her MSN in 2008 and is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She's worked at Denver Health and did consulting work
as a nurse practitioner. Ms. Crampton became a nurse educator in 2016 where she taught advanced medical-surgical courses. She joined
the DCN team in February 2018 and is currently the Director of Clinical Placement and Practicum at DCN. She will complete a Doctorate
in Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership degree in 2021, completing her research on clinical to simulation hour ratios and its
effect on nursing student learning.
