Ms. Kolb joined the DCN team in * of 2018. She completed her BSN at DCN in
2015, and previously earned a BS degree in Biology from CSU (2010). Prior to earning her Nursing degree and becoming a Registered Nurse,
Nicole worked as a researcher and certified nurse aide. She worked at Denver Health as a registered nurse on the Oasis Unit, Med/Surg on
8A, Progressive Care Unit (step-down ICU), cross-trained to Denver Health's Medical and Surgical ICUs, and currently in the Cardiac ICU
at the Medical Center of the Rockies. Aside from nursing, Nicole volunteers at two facilities through Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Her dog
Mack is a 120 lbs New Foundland Mix. She and her mother volunteer in the Critical Care Units at Denver Health and at Bethseda, where she
and her entire family perform home visits with Mack for disabled adults.
